Unfold is a door handle which reflects both the property of brass and function of door handle.
Every time the door handle is touched new area in unfolded.
The form of the "unfolded" door handle is like "folded mystery"

The unfold door handle will be made by casting brass and could be finished in brushed chrome/chrome or any other finish in order to match with the interiors or the door.

I wanted to design something which is derived from nature because door handle is something which is fitted mostly on natural material like wood.(doors are mostly wood).
I wanted my design to bridge the gap between the modern and traditional design. The sweeping curves elegantly going from bottom of the door handle to the top holding area makes the door handle look one identity (does not separate the neck and the lever).

The concept generation was followed by sketches and mock ups. It was refined in order to fit the spindle and giving enough area for the palm to have a comfortable grip.

Manufacturing and finishing process of the actual door handle were kept in mind with the refining of the concept.
