udesign' 12 portuguese design research by ricardo gonçalves from portugal

udesign’12 is the first national gathering of design phds and will happen at universidade de aveiro, portugal, in july 14th, 2012.

this first encounter aims to map the developed work made by portuguese design researchers.
 either through individual presentations or by poster exhibiting it will be possible to embrace the whole range of design research fields and promote information exchange between portuguese researchers.
an intense day was arranged by the organization with a special focus on paper presentations, complemented with keynote speeches by two renowned international design researchers.
