the design of this door handle is inspired by a new form of the rose of the handle. the shape of the rose has been made rectangular. in doing so, the shape of the rose gives an opportunity to shape the handle in relation to the rose. the handle is given a u-shape, which has the same length and width as the rose. when turning the u-shaped handle, the hand is enclosed between the two legs of the u. this small change gives a different dimension to turning the handle, without losing a minimal architectural form.

materials used can be traditional brass or milled aluminium. because of the simple shape, conventional production techniques can be used.
