Twist handle by philip greene from uk
designer's own words:
The idea for Twist handle was to create a sculptural form using a simple series of twists from a flat plate. The clay prototype which was produced was worked up and allowed a much more hands approach to the design development.
In the true spirit of the Twist handle this could be manufactured using the flat plate inserted into a high pressure mould to create the basic form. This would then allow CNC machined main axle and door escutcheon, before hand finishing and bead blasting. Alternatively it may be cast in aluminium. Other finishes are an epoxy powder coatings in various RAL colourways.
