in twist i have worked with the idea of a cylinder gradually being pressed flat as it is twisting around it's axis in one, fluid motion. the soft curves of the grip invites you to touch it, and at the same provides a comfortable and natural hand grip. the indentations in the metal both influence the ergonomic qualities, while also visually exaggerating the twisting movement of the design. i have chosen to show twist in brushed stainless steel here, but alternatively the handle can be given two different finishes: matt in the indentations with a polished body.
