designer's own words:
this design is a variation of a standard contemporary handle shape. the handle is a single dye cast aluminium piece and the rose is a 2mm thick embossed aluminium sheet. the round body is enhanced by two ditinctive details: a flat front surface and a thin groove along the top and bottom. those elements, as well as the front of the rose, are to be brushed finish whereas the rest of the handle remains sandblasted. the symetrical construction allows the handle to work in both right and left version. the grubscrew is placed on the inner part, right in the middle. two molds are necessary though, in order to produce the "push" and the "pull" versions. the very end of the handle pop in for the "push" version) or out (for the "pull" version) following a 30° angle and subtly indicates if the door is to be pushed or pulled. various round roses based accesories can be added to complete the set.
