TRUMPET by simon enever from usa
designer's own words:
The trumpet door handle takes inspiration from the flowing, yet considered, forms of brass musical instruments and uses the swooping aesthetic of the horn end to hide away any unsightly detailing where the lever meets the rose. The inside of the tubular piece of brass can also be coated to add a small, subtle colour or material accent to give the user personalisation or just a touch of interest to the otherwise pure form.
The lever part is designed to be manufactured using the same traditional methods as brass instruments which will give it a lightweight, but hand crafted feel.
The Tube tapers down to a slightly squashed oval shape near the end of the lever to give the user a better dedicated grip area when in use.
