Homeless people are very mobile people, who carry their possessions with them at all times. With this in mind, it becomes apparent that a “Shelter in a cart” needs to be lightweight and easy to take anywhere. As the homeless say: It’s hell to take the bus with a shopping cart.

The Trolleybed is designed with a light framework of steel or aluminium pipe and a nylon weave body. This will make manufacture easy and cost effective, and the cart will be durable and easy to maintain.

The cart easily unfolds to a bed, to which a shelter can easily be mounted if necessary. It has separate compartments for personal belongings and bottle collection etc.
