A small park in downtown.

It is not easy to find a park in the city. Always there only exist solid concrete and asphalt pavement, but it is not easy to find green area where we can take a walk, sit down or lie down. The concrete or asphalt city was constructed for our convenient life, but our sensibility looks getting dried out due to this convenience.
Therefore, this “Tree” bench is designed to sit down with taking the shoes off on the grass of the bench and to feel the nature, or lay oneself down against the bench, as if we can sit down on a bench under the tree, which is located at city square, to take a rest when it is hot. And, even though the space of this bench is so small, but it is desired to be a space where children step with bare feet, feel and sit down on the bench so that it can stimulate the children’s sense of touch, if any
Therefore, this “Tree” bench is a bench which transformed into small space, not a space of dreary city, where adults get relaxation out of the tiresome daily life and children gets stimulation on their sensibility.
