transforniture is a transformable system of furniture inspired by the game of tangram. the system consists of four prismatic elements that can be stacked together to form a multitude of configurations: from an extra bed for a friend who stays for a sleep-over, to a variety of seating pieces, even including an inclined bench for work-out. the system is simple yet flexible and playful. an inventive teenager would probably be able to find combinations of elements of which the designer was not even aware.

each element consists of a light hollow frame made of plastic and is padded with firm sponge for comfort. elements are held together by simple U-shaped connectors that fit into grooves on each side of the frame.
