The Zandle
This is a handle that can be operated by many different parts of the body, not just hands.
It is made of a lightweight but strong mterial (e.g. carbon fibre) coated with a rubberised grippy material.
The top segment can be operated by elbow, chin or head and the bottom segment by foot or by the side of a leg. This makes it ideal for disabled people who may be missing limbs or limb function, by their assistance dogs or from a wheelchair or mobility scooter by nudging it sideways with a wheel then reversing to allow the door to open or using a stick. It is also useful for busy people with their hands full and very small people or children.
