The Veer Handle by samuel ho from canada
designer's own words:
the "veer" handle's form is the act taking a single flat form and bending the curves in one direction to create the attachment to the rose and the other direction to create the handle's grip. this creates a visually minimalist form that is sculptural and functional. what sets this handle apart besides form is its strategic use of color to highlight its contrasting facets, by trimming the standard square rose, and the edges of the handle it garners attention by defining every contour. on any standard door the handle now becomes the defining element. available in an array of duo tone finishes, from your standard matte chrome flats and piano black finish gloss edges, the two color treatment can be reversed as seen in the gloss red and flat white edge combination to create show stopping results. both left and right versions would be available, all sharp edges would of course be buffed and treated for a comfortable grip and safety standards.
