The Swoosh by paul rabinowitz from italy
designer's own words:
i came up with the design of the swoosh while i was working with clay prototypes of traditional cylindrical handles. The clay gave me the opportunity to create a sleek and flowing cut-away that not only looks good but provides great ergonomic characteristics.
the cut away works ergonomically by only coming into contact with the top of the inside palm and thumb and feels comfortable while turning the handle.
the handle and rose would be injection molded with aluminum which would be very cost effective, and because of its simple design the mold would not have to be too complicated.
