the memory board by Josh Simpson from uk
designer's own words:
The concept of the project roots from the main reason we don't remember things: We're not paying enough attention. It monopolises on this by using light to subtly draw attention to its contents, prompting the user with a visual trigger to take a moment and step back, remembering and seeing what needs to be done.
The product would be manufactured from walnut hardwood with a danish oil finish. It would be sanded and milled in parts before being mounted with the electronics on an interior frame. The key fob would also be manufactured from walnut, with the product logo laser cut onto it and a small steel outset for attaching to a key ring. The fob would contain an interior RFID tag. The product itself is powered by mains electricity.
