The invisible Maybach is a design concept for a future luxury car. It uses new display technologies to display an abstract picture of its background on the bodysides and therfore become invisible. The idea is to add modesty to the definition of Luxury. Being still a very luxurious and roomy car, it doesn´t show-off, it seems to disappear. A ghost like experience.
The 1:4 model is functioning model, that uses a web cam, a custom built mainboard, and a hand made custom LED display.
The idea and the technology was then used by Mercedes for their famous TV add (video no.2)
