the flex door handle by dave mezaros from usa
designer's own words:
the flex door handle is both sleek and intuitive. made of stainless steel, the flex is durable as well as aesthetically pleasing. like many door handles, the flex is pulled on one side and pushed on the other. the hinge and structure of the flex provide visual clues that allow the user to open the door effortlessly. as the handle is pulled, it rotates on the hinge to a 45 degree angle, and the door opens. when both the handle and door are at 45 degree angles, the handle is parallel to the door frame, allowing a more comfortable grip than standard door handles. when the handle is pushed, it rotates to a 30 degree angle and the door opens. as with most door handles, both handles work independently. the graceful design of the flex allows for fluid movement, something often overlooked by many door handles.
