This logo combined with the expression “The environment hangs on us this Christmas” provokes the viewer’s thoughts instantly and hands them the responsibility of being environmentally aware this Christmas.

Although the ball ball is an obvious Christmas symbol, it was chosen as people use ball balls as a fashion statements/accessories throughout the world and people need to be proud to wear, view, and hold etc this logo. The designer has fashioned it with block colors, striking earth shapes whilst conveying a 3D effect to create a logo that is modern and innovative to portray that being environmentally friendly is the present and must be the future!

The typography magnifies the importance of the words ENVIRONMENT, US and CHRISTMAS by enlargement and in certain prints color. The word HANGS creates the tread to hang the ball ball which although still easy to read, makes the user look and take in the logo further. The main color being green represents the environment but also with the color red, combines to portray Christmas.

This logo is extremely flexible, it can easily be printed in a single color, two colors or a range of colors on various backgrounds (fashioning perhaps the color trends of this 08 Christmas) and even patterns/textures could be added to the countries on the ball balls.
