‘The Cooking Roll’ precludes that in year 2020, the materials used to build house appliances will have been developed amazingly. It is a common microwave oven that will be used in a usual household; at normal times, it rolls up like a towel. But when it needs to cook and the power turns on, the rolled up cooking-plate stretches open as the electricity starts flowing and becomes strong enough to hold the weights of the cooking utensils. At normal times, it rolls up so that it takes a relatively small space, and can be easily moved around. Also, the user can adjust the size of the microwave oven when in usage.

The new technology applied for ‘The Cooking Roll’ is not only adjusting the on, off of heat but also adjusting the degree of the heat. This technology indicates heat or electricity from the human body that it is currently utilized by elevators.

‘The Cooking Roll’ is rechargeable like cellphones; in year 2020, the rechargeable battery’s technology will decrease the size of the battery and increase the usage time. Utilizing these advancements, I designed future-oriented microwave oven which is the most simple and easy to use.
