the bookmarked m
the idea of this logo was based on the moleskine products in general but mainly focused on writing and reading meanings as an integral part of our personality. considering this, the graphic element represents two leaning notebooks and in the middle of them there is the typical and all time classic bookmark. the key point in this idea is the capital letter «m» which created from the notebooks and the bookmark. the «air» that flows between these three elements creates in a unique way the «m» giving in this logo recognition and distinction. this is the reason that it is called «bookmarked m».
the target was to design a simple and unique logo at the same time. a creative logo that is easy recognizable and easy to read too. a logo that will make the difference and bring out the moleskine world!
as a conclusion the logo is reproducible on any surface and looks good in all print media. furthermore, the «bookmarked m» could be used by itself as a trademark or a symbol used in bags or even reading glasses.¬
