the blauk chair by Michael McGinnn from canada
designer's own words:
The Blauk chair was designed with the intention of mimicking the square and pixilated images of classic video games. The colors are rudimentary and simple and the interlocking forms are inspired form the shapes in Tetris. The chair is meant to be playful, tactile and bright.
The function of the chair allows it to be reconfigured to create seemingly infinite furniture possibilities. Seating, studying, lounging and sleeping environments can be created in moments. A teen-ager can change their furniture as often as they change their mind.
