Termeh is a representative of the two generation’s concept of life; the old and the young generation.
The painting depicts the contrast between the traditional Iranian Islamic art and the modernity of today’s art. It includes two sheets. The artist has used the illumination and Arabesque method of the Persian carpets on the left sheet. On the other hand, the right sheet which has the same Gestalt indicates the interest of the young generation in order of chaos. In other words, reconciliation of two styles -traditional and modernity- can be obviously seen on the right side.
It took about a year and a half to accomplish this painting. The materials are watercolor,gouache, marker and coolie. There are no patterns being used, all shapes are hand painted. Unfortunately because of the limiting for the size of pictures, the details are not very clear.
