FACT:
THE STANDARDIZATION, THE PRODUCTION IN SERIES ON A LARGE SCALE ALLOWED MOST PEOPLE TO USE UP A LOT OF. BESIDES THE BENEFITS KNOWN IN THIS PRODUCTION, IT REMAINS IMPERSONNAL AND EXCEEDED. IT CAN NOT FACE THE CONSUMERS REQUIREMENTS ANYMORE. ALSO, WE CAN SEE THAT MORE AND MORE, CONSUMERS WANT TO PERSONALIZED: TUNING, CUSTOMIZATION FOR EXEMPLE. THIS RECENT TREND CONFIRMS THAT CONSUMERS NEED TO POSSESS AN OBJECT THAT LOOKS LIKE HIM, ORIGINAL, UNIQUE, WHICH CORRESPOND TO ITS IDENTITY.
POSITIONNING:
CONFUSING THE BODY AND THE OBJECT, THE SKIN AND THE SURFACE, THE TENDENCY IS TO BE ENGAGED IN THE INDUSTRIAL PROCESS, WHICH COULD BE COMPARED WITH THE ACT TO TATTOO ITSELF. INDEED, TATTOOING IS THE EXPRESSION OF AN IDENTITY, A COURSE, A LANGUAGE. BY MODIFICATION, IT REPRESENTS A BODY REAPPROPRIATION. THERE FORE, “THE SKIN OF CORIAN” IS A GOOD ARGUMENT TO USE THIS CODE AS A THEORICAL ANSWER TO IDENTITY QUESTION OF OBJECT. IN THIS WAY, THE “TATTOO PROJECT” PROPOSES A PERSONNAL SERVICE WHERE EVERYONE CAN HAVE HIS OWN CORIAN OBJECT. THE OBJECT WOULD HAVE HIS IDENTITY CARD, HIS CHARGE SYMBOLIC AND EMOTIONAL, IT WOULD BECOME A MYSTIC TOTTEM INCLUDING SECRET MEANING APPARENTLY INSIGNIFIANT. THE EXACT DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT IS NOT IMPORTANT HERE, THE MAIN OBJECTIVE BEING TO BRING CLOSER, VOLUNTARY THE OBJECT FROM HIS USER. USING STEREOTYPES, TABLE, CHAIR, LAMP, VASE... WILL SUPPORT THIS DECISION. BY THE TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS OF SUBLIMATION, EACH CONSUMER WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE TATTOO HIS OBJECT. THE CORIAN BECOMES SKIN, EXPRESSIVE SURFACE. THE OBJECT IS PERSONIFIED IN THE WAY THAT IT WILL HAVE ITS OWN LIFE. IT IS NOT STATIC AND FIXED ANYMORE, BUT INSTEAD, IT WAITS FOR NEW MODIFICATIONS, IMPULSES. IT WILL HAVE A VISIBLE HISTORY, WILL BE READABLE, INDELIBLE, IN SHORT, A SKIN-TEXT TO SOME EXTENT. A CORIAN TATTOOING WORKSHOP COULD BE THE SPACE OF THESE MOTIVATED INTERVENTIONS, EITHER BY THE IMAGINATION OF THE CONSUMERS OR BY THE ORIGINAL CREATIONS OF THE CORIAN TATTOOERS.
