SUNRISE REPRESENTS THE DAWN FOR ALL OF US. IT IS A LIGHT THAT RECREATES THE COLOURS OF THE SKY WHEN THE SUN RISES IN THE MORNING. IT’S A WAKE UP CALL FOR OUR BIOLOGICAL SYSTEM, WHICH RESPONDS AND ADJUSTS NATURALLY TO LIGHT STIMULI.
THE MATERIALS WERE CHOSEN TO REFLECT THE NATURAL ELEMENTS: THE MARBLE BASE WITH AN ALARM CLOCK REPRESENTS THE EARTH, THE BRONZE STRUCTURE WITH A LIGHT SOURCE IS THE SUNLIGHT, WHILE THE SATIN GLASS IS THE SKY AND THE ATMOSPHERE THAT CREATES THE TYPICAL CHROMATIC EFFECTS OF DAWN.
THE ALARM CLOCK IS SET IN THE USUAL MANNER. THE LAMP RECREATES THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF THE LIGHT OF THE DAWN
60 MINUTES BEFORE THE CHOSEN TIME. THE BLUE OF THE NIGHT TO THE LIGHT, THEN WARMING TO YELLOW. THE LIGHT ALLOWS THE BODY TO WAKE UP NATURALLY.
SUNRISE BECOMES A TAILOR-MADE DAWN, SYNCHRONISED WITH THE ALARM TIME. JUST AS THE EARTH ROTATES AROUND THE SUN, THE CHANGING COLOURS OF THE LAMP ARE SYNCHRONISED TO A ROTATION MECHANISM. THE LAMP MOVES FROM A HORIZONTAL POSITION WHEN REFLECTING THE BLUE SKY LIGHT UPWARDS TOWARDS THE CEILING, IT THEN ROTATES DURING PHASES OF THE SUNRISE TO REFLECT THE WARM COLOURS ONTO THE FACE OF THE SLEEPER.
THEREFORE, THE LIGHT WILL GRADUALLY CHANGE FROM NIGHT TO DAY.
SUNRISE IS ALSO THE LIGHT OF THE SUNSET AND IF TURNED ON BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP, CREATES AN ATMOSPHERE WITH WARM COLOURS THAT FADE TO SHADES OF BLUE AND SWITCH OFF AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 5 MINUTES.
The difference between waking up with the sound of the alarm and the natural light.
The lamp Sunrise recreates the initial phase of the first light blue of dawn.
The lamp rotates, reflecting the changing colour of the sky during phases of the sunrise. 
During phases of sunrise, the lamp reflect the warm colours onto the face of sleeper.
