stairway_sofa is a relationship strengthening sofa for home of young single or couples.
as you could easily imagine, i've got inspiration from the stairway.
originally, stairway is an architectural device to link between higher place and lower place.
but we can find people sit down on stairway to relax and having fun with their friends and family members easily.
no one intended that kind of situations, but people acts in that way.
this sofa designed for bring stairway's those aspect into home and so users having fun with their precious peoples.
stairway_sofa has iconic simple structure. it's configured with higher sit, lower sit and several cushions.
by this simple arrangement, users can sit in more dynamic, 3-dimensional formation and much more people can sit and relax in relatively small space than now.
for example, when parents sit on lower one and their baby sit on higher one, they can have eye contact more easily, and so on.
and also, stairway_sofa can be a nice daybed, or a bed for guests.
stairway_sofa includes two kinds of cushions. first one is used as armrest or pillow, and second one is used as backrest or hug-thing.
