Squadro by rodrigo chavez from mexico
designer's own words:
I believe that architecture today is looking somehow for new ways to return to the origin, this search has led some studios, (Fuksas, Libeskind, UN studio, Rojkind in Mexico, et.) to face the basic element of almost every structure man-made: the triangles.
This return to basics is fueled by new technological tools that allow it to rich the limit of complexity, that otherwise would be almost impossible.
Squadro: formal merger of triangles in its structure (as the Squadra, triangular drawing tool in Italian) and squares around the edges (Quadro, in Italian), looking for a simple and obvious complexity as the architecture nowadays.
