designer's own words:

The idea for the generation of spino, it was intervene in the world of the aperitivos, and develop new utensils and gadgets, to improve and enhance the pleasure of tasty meals, making more funny the meeting time with family and friends.

Therefore, it was proposed spino, a toothpick holder and napkin holder, that takes its shape from the porcupine. It was designed taking not only the physical aspects, but also the substance, the essence and the sympathy from these animals.

Is basically a solid piece of extruded metal, that copy the silhouette of a porcupine. it is divided into two functional areas: the frontal, working as napkin holder, achieved through a tapered cut on the profile, and the rear, working as toothpick holder, it is proposed on the "spine", through a staggered series of holes, that supports and holds the toothpicks, as spines.
