The bench represents one of sound waves in a space where it is placed. I designed the bench when I think all kinds of waves in nature. I hear bird's singing, people's talking and cell phones ringing etc. when I sit on a bench in a park. I built the bench with bent lamination technique to make the wave shape. The bent lamination technique brings a strong structure and free shapes. First of all, I made a mold for the 'U' shape and clamped many layers of MDF with veneer on the mold with glue. Then, the 'U' shapes were glued together to become the wave shape. The length of the bench is able to be flexible by the numbers of the wave shapes.
