Songlines

Songlines by errico corsanici from italy

designer's own words:

“Moleskine” is a nickname used by Chatwin in one of his most celebrated writings, The Songlines (1986): a book that tells of the indigenous Australian traditions of finding their way and navigate accross their land. A book in which SONGS, DRAWINGS, SIGNS and THINGS are bound together, preserved and passed on from their ancestors… combined to create Songlines in the desert.

Nowadays, our SONGS, DRAWINGS, SIGNS and THINGS need to be fixed somewhere, to become the guardian of our experiences, our impressions and our expressions. Blogs do it and Moleskine has been doing it for years. Moleskinerie.com must never forget its ancestral origin and duties.
