designer's own words:

along with functionality and strength, contemporary architecture can also focus on geometrical aspects.

smart materials and new technologies developed in the last century can put modern building boundaries to the test. the combination of solid materials and spaces and the relationship between them results in both complexity and freedom. this, in turn, creates a clean and minimalist style within the structure.

'sonar' is a door handle inspired by this movement. its solid body and the spaces it creates combine to create a simple shape for the required functionality. the handle, adorned with soft patterned textures, was designed to be both minimal and elegant in order to match current architectural style.

'sonar' is made in a pressure die casting manufacturing process. it is made of a metal alloy, coated with chrome finish.the textures are created using an insert, placed inside the form which enables a wide variety of patterns and textures.the length of the handle's body creates a better leverage force which decrease the effort applied on it.
