solid cast brass/aluminium architectural door handle by Rupert Crossley from uk

the door handle is a mechanism that most people will use many times a day but are unlikely to think much about. i do not aim to revolutionise a much tried and tested product and do not even wish to draw any added attention to it. my design aims at being completely un-intrusive whilst being subtly elegant. the handle itself would be cast from a single piece of brass or aluminium and can be polished, brushed, sandblasted or plated to make it versatile and suitable for any public or private building. the rose is minimal in scale and the mechanism would be concealed behind the scutcheon.
