Concept Note:

The creation of this digital watch is based on a thought inspired by man’s first tryst with calibrating time. Time which has now more essence than just measurability, Time which is the driving force of our passions and quest for success and excellence. The sheer imagination of an unchallenging truth of our supreme connect with nature – The Sun inspired me to fashion out a design which though is positioned as a futuristic digi-gen-next marvel yet is contemporary timelessly and conventional in thought.
The need for styling this watch was based on the fact keeping in mind the eco sensitivity applied in fuelling its performance which is solar driven and materials which are eco-friendly
The performance is driven by solar powered batteries which has the capability to harness solar energy from even dim sunlit zones. So, even when its night time the watch continues to work seamlessly paying tribute to the energy stored in it, in the same manner how all living beings live.
The Human connect with Solaris is quite evident in terms of its thinking and reasoning capabilities. For eg. A time conversion display helps you access World Time with a touch of a button.
The ornate design aspect of Solaris is its digital 3D Sundial which is quite eye catching to the discerning.
The sleek state of the art glass display and metallic sheen adds style and panache to the wearer’s wrist and exults dignified brand personality.
So , behold the safe , trendy , scientific tribute to the essence of our lives – TIME !

Digital Sundial works like a Usual Sundial except It works Outdoors, Indoors and Of course At night Because of its Unique Design and Functionality.
The Functionality and Design Have the following attributes:
1) SSR ™ (Sun Shadow Reader)The SSR ™
Works According to the Position of the Sun around the Earth.
SSR program is a code which has been fed all the positions of the Sun around
Earth. The time is then converted to a Digital shadow By the SSR ™.
It’s like a usual Sundial Shadow except its digital and also it works 24 hours.
*There is no need for the person wearing the watch to be around the sun.
Solaris ™ Functions on Program basis.

2) Colour changing LED which senses the sun
The Sun as we know it has changes its colour trough out the day, According to its intensity
Distance and Time. Solaris ™‘s LED which is placed in (The inscription, Rim and Shadow)
Changes different Colours according to the sun trough out the day.

3) Digital Shadow
Solaris ™ has a digital shadow which is an Inbuilt LED. It’s a programmed Shadow.
Just like the rim, Inscription and time LED the shadow changes its colour accordingly to
The Setting of the Sun.

4) Solar Powered
To add and additional feel that the watch belongs to the sun. Solaris ™ is completely Solar powered. Hence it works with solar powered cells which charge up because of the sun’s energy and keeps the watch functioning for 24 hours or more.

5) Date Display
Solaris ™ Displays Date and Day on the sundial.

6) Night Dial
Solaris ™ has a night dial which works similar to the sundial. Except it is Blue to resemble the night. Other than that there is an alarm too.
