PET bottles ( for water, soft drinks, milk products…) are packaging products made by injection blow molding from semi products, so called “performs”. The average life of the PET bottles in distribution and consumption is approximately few weeks and only about 15% - 35% is reused or recycled. The idea was to make salt & pepper shakers and spice containers out of performs that didn’t pass the quality control and which would be disposed or recycled. By making salt and pepper shakers their life is drastically extended and therefore less dangerous for environment. Even further, the varieties in color and shape are endless and the prices per piece on the market extremely low.
