This is a design to create a magical experience and transform the idea of dark and gloomy cemetery in a natural experience, simple and happy no matter what religious belief through a series of natural elements like water, flora and most importantly light. This complex (SKY LIGHT) has four pavilions with two different distributions, the first is based on a set of artificial lakes and natural and artistic journey with blue colors, light and the second lpavillon emulates a forest with warmer, more open spaces and less marked paths. The organic architecture is in contrast to traditional cemeteries where concrete is very cold and stiff.
Each of the remains (ashes) are introduced into a primary urn is sealed and placed in an urn light (SKY STAR) containing an LED system that ensures durability of 20 years lighting, low energy consumption (which can be supplied by solar panels 10m x 10m each pavilion or wind energy) and can be replaced at low cost. Each urn can be placed in a family tree, or hung on a constellation generating an electrical contact ensures continuous operation while SKYLIGHT doors open to the public, closing the doors turn on to not waste energy and time lifetime of the LEDs. Each of the Sky Star carries the names of the deceased and can be moved or repositioned to join other family members or friends creating lighting groups (constellations).
The SKY LIGHT is a relatively inexpensive project with a high capacity, each of the halls may contain more than 4000 SKY STARS hanging on the ceiling and over 1000 in the family tree. In a complex of four pavilions SKY LIGHT can expose up to 20,000 (twenty thousand) remains.

Two different environments: one surrounded by water, color and light with a capacity of over 5000 SKY STARs (4000 units on the roof and 1,000 more in the trees) .. The second a more sober emulating a forest with a starry sky but equally beautiful with a capacity of 6000 SKY STARs (4000 units on the roof and 2000 more in the trees).

The concept of space is based on the YEE PENG festival celebrated in northern Thailand where we celebrate the Festival of Lights in the lunar month 12. The main idea of this custom is to say a prayer, make a wish and watch as your “Krathong” or “khome” floats away.
The architectural project SKY LIGHT is divided into four pavilions surrounded by a natural environment, water sources, with warmer materials and plants of all colors. Changing the concept of shady and sad that today is handled in most cemeteries
SKY STAR: this lighting element is composed of a primary urn containing the ashes of a loved one, sealed to ensure their preservation. This element is introduced into a secondary urn is made with frosted glass container, a system of LEDs with an estimated life of 20 years without maintenance solar powered and a plastic cap that ensures a tight seal and secure electrical contact permanent. (all this is achievable with current technologies)
SKY LIGHT: funerary complex surrounded by fountains and natural elements, divided into four pavilions with different design experience, each pavilion has a capacity of over 5000 SKY STARs being self-sustaining. The architectural project can vary in shape and size to be replicated in cities and smaller spaces but the experience remains as experience light is the essence of space.
