Global warming is a global issue, therefore should be communicated clearly throughout the world.
This project visualizes future scenarios of global warming based on Mark Lynas's Six Degrees. My approach is to visualize the complex information in a simple way with a series of pictorial symbols, to be understood throughout the world as a global communicative system regardless of what spoken or written language you use.
The book shows that knowledge of certain language is needed to understand written information, but basic universal understating can be made with pictorial symbols. The future scenarios are unfolded in each of these symbols throughout the book, and selected scenarios are emphasized in posters.
