SimBle™ is a door handle that not solely focus on its aesthetic value but also take serious consideration about the ergonomic and semantic. The subtle indentation with curve at its bottom left that inspired by Brancusi sculpture is the highlight. It suggests a language to welcome users’ thumb to gently glide across it and rest at the indentation. This detail combines with its massive body provide a good grip and suitable for left and right handed users. The idea of fusing two materials, which are ceramic and metal, is employed with the wish to break the “cold” and “industrial” feeling that a metal handle would give.
