Kimono is definitely not easy to handle, even when you want to hang it just to admire its beauty. There has not been any hanger specifically designed for kimono, which can be suitable for a typical small room in urban area. Hence, to make kimono become more approachable, my design, Shamisen aims at creating a flexible way to display kimono together with some small accessories that people normally use when wearing it like hair pins or jewellery.
The structure has LED lightings under the hanger on both sides, which will provide a subtle glow to the costume when you place it on. Moreover, the hanger is designed in a way that it is distant from the wall so that you will not have to be worried if something may accidentally spoil the kimono fabric. Made of stainless steel, Shamisen is totally smooth, lightweight and suitable for various interiors.
