the design concept is: animals shadows make by hands. So this process has 3 steps. First you need a source of light, in this case we have the bulb light with lightning bolt print on the top area. Then you need a hand and finally the shadow. Both are on the low area of the kimono. This area has 2 layers, the exterior layer is a transparent fabric with the print of the hand and the interior layer is a regular fabric with the shadow print, this layer is little bit shorter than the exterior layer in order to give a stronger illusion.
