Scout Guard by Teddy Atuluku from nigeria
designer's own words:
Curiosity is human nature; sometimes we feel the need to satisfy our curiosity through travel and exploration. These trips take us through places hot and cold, tropical resorts and vast deserts, for work (archaeology) and pleasure (backpacking in a foreign country). A lot of the time our journey to satisfy curiosity requires packing a light luggage, but that isn't always practical when traveling across different climates, especially when extreme weather conditions are involved.
According to the CDC, more than 6800 people have suffered deaths due to excessive high and low temperatures over the last 5 years, in the USA alone.
The Scout guard is a lightweight activity jacket for travelers, with a temperature regulation system; protecting users from hypothermia (freezing up) in cold weather and hyperthermia (overheating) in high heat conditions.
Hypothermia occurs when the body drops below 35.0 °C (95.0 °F) and hyperthermia when it rises above 38.3 °C (101 °F). The Scout guard protects users through its hydro regulation system, cooling its wearer in the heat and warming them up in the cold.
The Scout guard reduces the need for extra baggage and provides safety in extreme heat and cold. It lets you go sleeveless, allowing you to tickle your curiosity and explore the world, in comfort.
