Much of being a teenager is about self-expression and defining an environment. SB system is a highly customizable system of furniture components that enable a teenager to express him/herself. At the core of this system is a clear polypropylene sandwich that the user can place personal items – photos, drawings, letters, magazine clips, etc. This is then inserted into a pouch in the center of a transparent inflatable cushion. This cushion can then be hung on the wall as decoration, assembled to other components to form a sofa, or assembled with other components to form a table. A teenager can then, by changing the items showcased in the polypropylene sandwich, radically change the appearance of the system easily and quickly.
