the logo was inspired by the freedom that moleskine represents and moleskinerie promotes. it also resembles pen and paper sheets, movement of the boat represents the freedom and passion. the "m" of moleskinerie can be seated on the boat separately, or as part of the whole word. logo offers variety of color combinations while retaining the simplicity and readability of the whole picture and idea behind. it was drafted first on paper and then graphically created with use of corel draw x15. it was started with simple lines and curves and converted into more dimensional with the artistic lines of corel draw.
