designer's own words:
Processes of manufacture: Pressure die casting or Forged.
Materials: Finished chromed Steel, Aluminium alloy with anodizing finished in diverse colors or Stainless steel. In fact many types of metals can be used for the manufacture. The square hole in the piece is 8mm.
