ROX by Daniele Canuti from italy
designer's own words:
The concept of torsion is the basis of the handle door design: as sections of a boby under forces rotate within respect eachother, in the same way the simple and soft line desining the handle twist in the handling point.
Its particular shape comes from the study of the gesture we usually do to open a door. It's in the point where the wrist twist itself from the top to the bottom that the steel section gets the torsion. This becomes the unique caratteristic of the semplicity of the object, allowing an easier handling and a better push.
Its front view defines a neutral and clean line on the development, without complex shapes but creating simple shape evolution.
