Each Droop light is made from a reclaimed bottle. Bottles are heated in a kiln to a temperature where they begin to slump. Steel structures and insulating fiber paper stop portions of the bottle from deforming. In this way certain details of the original bottle are preserved while others are simply melted away. No two are ever alike.
