The idea of The Ribbon comes from the core of the lock, the spindle, around which is wrapped a metal bar. A shape originated from the choice of function, a classical door handle, that is a good size and straightforward.
The handle is made by die-casting, although the inspiration comes from the idea of a folded flat piece wrapped around the spindle. There is a small gap between the handle (Ribbon) and the spindle to highlight the concept.
