Retractable is an additional mounted platform that is being designed and implement in certain areas in the train stations. The objective of this design is to help the elderly, wheelchair users, as well as those who have difficulties boarding the train/subway due to the gap and height between the train and the platform more efficiently and conveniently by using censor technologies to extend the additional platform board fully. The ultimate aim of this design is to minimize falls and injuries.

Retractable require low construction cost and minimal maintenance as it receives information through wireless and uses simple censors to activate and deactivate the mounted board making it fully automatic and user friendly.
