the proposal developed was inspired in the origami techniques. the Japanese word "origami" itself is a compound of two smaller Japanese words: "ori", meaning to fold, and "kami", meaning paper. thus, this logo was carefully defined to represent the creativity and the spirit of the legendary moleskine and its world.the visual image is text-based "Moleskinerie" and graphic symbol represented by the "M".
