1. Privatized Green
"Hiding green, Heating city"
Green spaces in city are hidden beyond the walls and below the grounds. Privatized green space generates social inequality by the gap between haves and have-nots.
"Share Green Space"
However, we can make the most use of the existing green areas that we share them with our neighbors by eliminating thick walls and taking courtyard out.
2. Water Shortage
"Pouring Rains, Lacking Water"
It is happening over the half of our planet. Nevertheless, reserving rainwater in a tank underneath our home, it will help to alleviate the problem.
3. Boost Walkability
"Looking Inside"
Because of an open yard toward the street, it is necessary to keep privacy from passers-by. So, the windows are facing inside looking each other, and the yard acts as buffer zone.
"Let It Rain”
By making it rain through a pipe across the yard, the raindrops can function like a screen. The water drops adsorb dust in the air and lower the temperature as well. This will make the streets greener and more walkable in our neighborhood.
