Roadside trees have to face many environmental difficulties when growing up, they need our frequent care and help. According to the traditional method, wooden stakes are combined together to fix trunk and branches, so that the tree may stand stable and not be accidentally destroyed. But to apply the traditional method additional wood must be consumed, and on the long term the wooden stakes are affected to corrosion and damage by wind and rain. Preciousup is a modular support device for tree branches which uses recycled PE plastic to create and reproduce them. We chose to use recycled PE because we understood its unique advantages: solid structure, ductility, acid proof and alkali resistant. PE plastic is more durable than the traditional wooden stakes, and after recovery the naturally mixed colors give each component an unique pattern, conferring a special sense of beauty also to the street.
