designer's own words:
This OLED portable Lamp makes use of the Standard OLED panels. There are two lamp dimensions, both square, one 118*118mm (making use of the N8SA30 panel) and one 158*158mm (making use of the N6SC35 panel).
Both lamps share the same features. They are built out of aluminum and have photovoltaic cells on the back side. Both the back and the front are covered with 1mm Gorilla Glass. This, coupled with the aluminum frame and contour, makes for a very strong case, meant to last. The lamp is designed to be used in all sorts of environments, from the cozy space of an apartment to the harsh conditions of mountain hiking. The outer contour can be slid off and rotated so that it acts both as a handle (making the lamp usable as a hand lamp) and also as a support, thus transforming the lamp into a desk lamp.
When the contour is slid off, it uncovers two main features. One of the features is an USB plug. This serves as a quick power charger for tablets and smartphones, making it easy to charge the devices while still using the product as a lamp. The other feature present near the On/Off button is the LED array which shows how much battery is left.
The On/Off button is easily accessible without sliding the aluminum contour.
The aluminum contour can be fixed in any position by rotating the lock on the right of the lamp. The lock also acts as a support for a bracelet.
The two lamp family comes in 4 colors and finishes - two colors (Bright Yellow and Red) and two raw Aluminum cases, one black and one gray.
