Fill in the Gaps – pOrOus Chair
When a child is growing up, they develop huge interests in themselves. The question of “who am I” is constantly in a teenager’s mind. The concept of this piece of furniture is to express the change and development of teenagers in both physical and psychological aspects.
Porous, by definition, means full of pores. These gaps are the passages of all knowledge and feelings of a growing person. A teenager gets to use his or hers imagination to create new worlds and finding themselves.
Technology allows more interaction between a teenager and a piece of furniture. The pOrOus chair encourages teenagers to insert their interests and needs. The plug-in devices are the magic wands to transform the atmosphere. The pOrOus chair is multifunctional yet personal. It is a place to study, a DJ’s booth, or simply a place to relax. More, it is an active way to say “who am I” through a cool piece of furniture for the new generation.
